Spinning the Wheel of Worries!

Some people worry about one thing at a time. I'm putting off holiday shopping, wondering how to help our new dog adjust to our home, pondering how to help my daughter move to New York, and how to promote my book. Do I have waterproof shoes for my rainy trip to Disney World? Nope. Should I start my semi-autobiographical novel while seeking funding to continue my research? Maybe. Is it too early to start recital choreography? Never. Where will my company perform this spring? Ask the Magic 8-Ball! Will I find a venue that presents more than only postmodern dance? Occasionally. Does everyone get so excited to adopt a dog that they run over a curb on the way? Probably not, but #ThatsSoWanda. Welcome to my blog. I'm learning as I go.

Different worries but still relatable! As for promoting that book, start with Winthrop's Communications and Marketing group. If they haven't sent out a press release, they should. They should also be able to help you set up a couple of events on campus in which present some of the highlights from your book. More ideas to come.
One quick solution though you did not ask for a solution -- a way to promote the book is to include at least the title in every mention of the book and then link to the purchase area. People only go if they want to but you then give them the opportunity.
